META/BOOKS is a feminist publishing and research platform for emerging photographers and designers. We organise workshops, education projects, as well as curating lectures series and exhibitions. We develop our books on our own initiative or in association with artists, designers, writers. META/BOOKS works with leading cultural institutions, festivals, museum and art and design academies. The studio was founded by Delphine Bedel in 2014 in Amsterdam. 

Delphine Bedel is a feminist artist, curator, lecturer and publisher. Her work is exhibited internationally. She’s a frequent speaker in international conferences and seminars, including Centre Pompidou, Paris, Stedelijk Museum Amsterdam, Chelsea College of Art and Design London, etc. She writes for books and magazines. Founder of Meta/Books, a feminist publishing platform and research platform for emerging photographers and designers. Known for her cutting-edge publications and feminist education projects, she works with leading cultural institutions, photography festivals and art and design academies. She is Advisor for the Mondriaan Fund and Member of the German Photography Academy.
